Myisha Green is the founder of Young People Arise, she is very passionate about the success and safety of youth everywhere. Raised by a single mother, Myisha understands first hand the saying "it takes a village to raise a child" because it was a village that aided in shaping Myisha into the woman she is today. With
a tumultuous background filled with rejection, drug abuse, mental, emotional and sexual abuse, Myisha is a survivor. She has been compared to 'Harriet Tubman' by some. There are no limits to the lengths that she will go through to rescue or help Young People Arise.
In addition to founding Young People Arise, Myisha has managed group homes for at risk youth and has worked in the private school setting as a behavior specialist working with children with disabilities as well as lead youth mentorship programs and youth groups.
In 2017 Myisha accepted a volunteer assignment to facilitate youth groups at Westside Christian Academy and in 2018 she was promoted to director of the youth department at her church where she conducted bible studies, vacation bible school, fundraisers, and organized outings.
In 2020 Young People Arise received 501c3 status, we are a registered non-profit organization.
Young People Arise is more than just an organization, YPA is a calling to fulfill a mission, to empower the next generation to succeed.
Myisha is a wife, mother and author.
